The Medical Imaging Department is professionally staffed and operated 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In addition to X-rays, the department offers ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and mammography testing, as well as the latest in CT (Computerized Tomography) scanning. Please note that certain examinations may require special instructions that you will receive from your doctor or nurse regarding diet and preparation. If you have any questions, please ask your doctor or call the Medical Imaging Dept. at extension 1311.
Following your discharge, you may need to schedule other tests or additional X-rays as an outpatient.

The Clinical Laboratory performs tests ordered by your doctor on blood, urine, and other body fluids in order to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of your medical condition and/or to monitor the level of your medications. Some tests require a sample of your blood which a phlebotomist will collect. At times, it might be necessary to repeat certain tests due to variations in your body chemistry and/or changes in your medication, diet, or general condition. Any questions you might have regarding your test results can be answered best by your physician.

The Intensive Care and Coronary Care Units of the Hospital are the areas where patients receive constant monitoring and oversight 24 hours a day by nurses who are specially trained and qualified to monitor and care for cardiac and post-operative patients, or patients whose conditions require similar observation.
These units contain highly-specialized equipment in a controlled environment. Due to the presence of such equipment, additional electrical appliances such as electric razors or radios are not allowed. Activity such as sitting on a patient's bed is also not permitted, since such action could interfere with the grounding of some equipment and could alter its performance.
